Shore Power

Onshore Power Supply (OPS) helps reduce emissions at berth while supporting port sustainability and operational efficiency. By enabling vessels to use shore power instead of running auxiliary engines, OPS reduces emissions, noise, and air pollution—supporting environmental compliance and lower operating costs.

Overview

On-Shore Power Supply (OPS)

Onshore Power Supply (OPS) is a significant, sustainable, and effective way of achieving near-zero emissions at port, along with fuel savings. It reduces vessel emissions while at berth, minimizes noise and air pollution, and helps lower maintenance and non-compliance costs. In line with IMO sustainability goals and government emission norms, OPS enables vessels to use alternative maritime power, supporting compliance with environmental regulations.

Our solution is offered as a complete turnkey package—covering consultation and feasibility assessment, detailed engineering, class coordination, and material procurement, through to installation, commissioning, and trials. With customized designs tailored to operational requirements, OPS can be installed even when vessels are afloat, supporting busy ports and time-sensitive operations.
